This Month's
Theme: The UC
Enterprise Summit: A Unique, Peer-to-Peer
Collaboration
Event
| |

Welcome!
I
would like to take this month's bulletin to help
announce an exciting and unique Unified Communications
& Collaboration event, The UC Enterprise
Summit (sponsored by UCStrategies), to be
held September 18 - 21 at the Estancia La Jolla Hotel
& Spa, in La Jolla, CA. It has been my
privilege to have the opportunity to be
part of the UCStrategies team planning this distinctive
gathering.
UCStrategies
is a well established, leading edge consortium of
Unified Communications experts providing key insights
and analysis to help the market better understand
unified communications technologies, unified
communications products, and unified communications
trends. UCStrategies provides articles and viewpoints
from UC analysts and consultants to help vendors,
end-users, resellers and consultants better understand
the dynamic unified communications arena.
A
by-invitation only event, The UC Enterprise Summit will
bring together a select, qualified, and intimate group
of enterprise users, UC consultants and UC vendors with
a common need and interest to network and better
understand the realities of the contribution and
deployment of UC solutions.
Unlike
large trade shows or conferences where the effectiveness
and value of much of your networking and education are
hit or miss, this Summit's format and venue will ensure
the opportunity for all participants to easily meet and
focus on their specific UC interests, current needs and
best solutions. The agenda and format will focus on real
UC deployment, interoperability and collaboration, not
keynotes, sales pitches or market
projections.
Please email me with any questions, to learn more
about the Summit, or to inquire about attending.
Sincerely,
Mick
Sawka

The
UC Enterprise Summit, presented and announced
by Jim
Burton, Co-founder, UCStrategies.com |
|
The
many complexities of Unified Communications &
Collaboration make it challenging for enterprise
organizations to navigate through the various
solutions and
implementation options available. Enterprises know that
they want to further their UC strategies, and they want
to avoid making costly mistakes. They want to hear from
their peers about what worked, what didn't, and how to
best proceed with the greatest possibility of success.
They need advice on how to find the use cases and
business value of UC, how to deliver ROI, and how to
decide among the various solution options available.
They want to hear about the various vendor offerings,
but don't want to hear sales pitches.
With that said and on behalf
of UCStrategies, I am excited to announce the UC Enterprise Summit, a
conference where enterprises in the planning stages for
a UC implementation can interact with their peers and
independent industry experts, learn best practices,
pitfalls, migration strategies, and share their UC
challenges. In a unique format, the Summit will bring
together senior executives, analysts, consultants, and
leading vendors for 2 1/2 days of constructive UC
"collaboration." This is an invitation-only event for UC
and collaboration influencers and decision-makers.
The Summit will address all
aspects of the UC market including collaboration, video,
mobility, cloud, communications-enabled business
processes (CEBP), the impact of social networking, and
more. The program will be filled with information
enterprises and
consultants need to ensure a successful migration to
unified communications, including "what you need to
know" presentations, case studies, workshops, small
focus sessions, panel and roundtable discussions, and
plenty of networking opportunities. The overall goal is
to deepen the understanding of the real world challenges
and to ensure success in the adoption of unified
communications.
The
Summit will be held September 18 - 21 at the Estancia La
Jolla Hotel & Spa, in La Jolla,
CA. |

Why the UC
Enterprise Summit Will Be Unique
for
Enterprise Users and Consultants |
|
The
UC Enterprise Summit Offers Enterprise Users and
Consultants:
- A
place where enterprise executives can meet with their
counterparts from other enterprises to share ideas,
information and experiences.
- General
sessions comprised primarily of case studies presented
by users who have deployed UC solutions, and attendees
will have the opportunity to discuss what they learned
in roundtables, meals, and a variety of social events.
- An
interactive forum for exchanging ideas via panels,
roundtable sessions, and heavy doses of networking.
- The
opportunity to hear from those who have "been there,
done that," learn what worked and
what
didn't, the pitfalls to avoid, and what steps to take
to ensure success.
- The
ability to have a hand in deciding what sessions are
offered.
- Small focus sessions where
enterprise and consultant attendees will get to
question the vendors in detail on their
offerings.
- Receptions
with product demos and networking opportunities before
and after dinner.
- Network,
network, network. There will be ample time for
networking with peers during meals, breaks, and
numerous social events.
The UC Enterprise Summit is
uniquely designed to bring consultants and end users
together to exchange ideas and
share experiences. In preparing for a UC deployment, the
ability to talk one-on-one with leading vendors,
consultants, independent
industry experts, and most importantly, peers in
other organizations, all in one location, can provide
invaluable insights to help craft a successful UC
strategy.

Why the UC
Enterprise Summit will be Unique
for Vendor
Sponsors |
|
The
UC Enterprise Summit Offers Vendor
Sponsors:
|
- An invitation-only event, to
interact with qualified enterprise organizations and
consultants who are involved in or starting the
decision making process for a major UC buying
decision and are in the process of determining
how they can most successfully develop and implement
their UC solutions.
- The
opportunity to present their offerings to small groups
of users and consultants in focus sessions. These
smaller meetings allow the opportunity for more open
exchanges that can be followed-up with private
meetings later during the event.
- The
opportunity to invite some of their leading-edge
customers who can share their experiences. Vendor
customers will present their UC challenges and success
by sharing real case study examples.
- Meetings
with small groups of enterprise customers and
consultants in your own private "office" for focus
sessions, and one-on-one meetings with potential
customers throughout the event.
- Access
to premier end-user consultants who influence UC
decision making to a wide range of clients.
- The
opportunity to display and demonstrate your products
throughout the event - in the Solutions Hall, your
hosted reception, focus sessions, and in a private
meeting room.
- Meaningful
enterprise and consultant feedback to make your
marketing message more effective.
- Networking
opportunities with potential partners in a neutral
setting.
Sponsoring
the UC Enterprise Summit provides the opportunity to
present your company as a thought leader in the UC
industry to a select group of enterprise executives and
consultants in an informal and relaxed environment.
This is
not another large-scale trade show where you compete for
attention with hundreds of other vendors.
Space is limited to only 12 sponsors, so each one
will be heard and have the opportunity to speak.
